He is a Mechanical Engineering holding Diploma in technology, Diploma in welding (Hindustan ship yard). He served in Indian Air Force from 1982 to 2002 and retired as Sergeant. He did his pharmaceutical distribution business for a brief period and joined the Reliance Group of Industries and has been in charge of Statutory Inspections for the Reliance Industries Ltd., Gadimoga to Jamnagar, from 2013 to 2105. Worked as Senior Manager, Dhirubhai Ambani Heliport In charge, Gadimoga from 2013 to 2015.
